With a name like Florida Painting, many people immediatly assume our family would come from Florida, USA. However, its far from the case! Our founder, Fernando Noria, a man who arrived here in 1988 from the small country of Uruguay, began this company in 2005 after spending the prior years working in all different trades in construction. He aptly named the company after a special town he was born and raised in- this town being Florida, located in Uruguay. (with a current population under 35,000 its no surprise most people assume the State of Florida). Even though he was over 8500 kilometers away from his beloved town, it never left his heart. Raising a family with 2 children wasn't going to be easy in a foreign country and with no other family but his loving wife for support here, he knew he had to do something big to make his dreams come to fruition. 2005 came around and a chance for him to open his own company and begin the journey was taken by Fernando. Nothing was easy, (especially with 2008 being just around the bend) and the sacrifices that were made came in the form of endless hours working, missed holidays, and risks taken that could have taken it all away - all worth the dream he was pursuing. Now, after almost 20 years in the business, Florida Painting has been able to establish itself as a reputable company that completes all tasks at hand with the same passion, craftmanship, and pride that our founder Fernando put into everything he did. Being run by Fernando and now his son Cristopher, they will continue to serve clients with the highest level of attention to detail and quality work that not only lasts, but resembles the pride we have in our name. Specializing in custom homes and spray work, Cristopher learned everything he knew from Fernando, starting to learn at 15. Now, after working alongside his father, he's continuing the company legacy in hopes to one day pass down the name to his own child as well. The same passion we have in growing our business is put into our work as well. Its more than just painting to us, its an art, and your space is the canvas. And to think, it all started with a vision a young man had.
